The 6th annual All-Highlands Parade Of Athletes banquet recognizes and celebrates our student athletes from the three public high schools here in Highlands County. The event is a joint partnership between Sebring Firemen Inc. and Highlands News-Sun.
THURSDAY, MAY 25th, 2017
DOORS OPEN AT 6 P.M. DINNER STARTS AT 7 P.M.
The evening’s menu will be a banquet-style dinner featuring the Sebring Firemen’s famous Bar-B-Que chicken.
At the event, several awards and scholarships are presented, including a Male and Female Athlete of the Year, and Academic Athlete and Spirit awards for each local high school. Plaques will be awarded to the male and female All-Highlands athlete for each recognized sport. The 2017 All-Highlands Team Of The Year award will also be announced.
The banquet will include a raffle drawing for all varsity head coaches and athletic directors from the three local high schools to recognize their contributions to our student athletes’ success.
The event will feature a keynote address by Ms. Cindy Marshall, who will accept the Richard Hensley Memorial Donation for Ridge Area Arc’s Special Stars program. The program funds athletic access for Special Stars athletes in Highlands County.

Yes, tickets are available for sale at the door, CASH ONLY, $15 per ticket.

Each FREE ticket for the event is unique to the Athlete/Coach to whom it is issued.
These tickets may not be transferred or copied for admission. PAID tickets may be used by anyone attending the event.
We are incredibly excited to kick off our 2017 season in an explosive way! Our 3rd annual YFIRE 5K will be the first event of the year at Firemen’s Field. Please join Sebring Firemen, Inc. and The Highlands County YMCA as we promote the YMCA’s #JUSTMOVE Movement. Presented by Mid-Florida Credit Union.

Sebring Firemen, Inc. will be honoring First Responders by providing lunch for them on Tuesday, September 27th. This will be a drive-thru / pickup lunch from 11 PM to 1 PM. Hamburgers and all the fixings will be provided.
The 17th Annual Sebring Firemen, Inc. Memorial Golf Classic, presented by AXA Advisors, LLC and The Home Depot, will be held on August 13, 2016 at the Sun N’ Lake Golf Course. This tournament is a 4-person scramble/flighted by handicap format. Entry fee is $75 per player. Your entry fee includes golf cart, one mulligan, range balls, and prizes. Food and beverages will be provided on the course. Registration begins at 7:30am with Cannon Start at 8:30am.

The 2015 All Highlands Parade of Athletes, sponsored by Highlands Today, will be coming Saturday, June 6th to the Highlands Today Center, located at the Highlands County Fairgrounds. This year’s keynote speaker will be Tristan Nunez, driver for Mazda Motorsports/Speedsource. Tickets are $12 and include dinner. No charge for Athletes and Varsity Head Coaches. All student athletes, coaches, teachers and family members are invited to attend, however the event is open to the public.
It’s being called the end of an era, however it’s more like a new beginning. Pictured here is the outgoing Sebring Firemen, Inc. President Charlie Taylor, of Taylor Oil Co., Inc. passing the gavel to the incoming President Clint Culverhouse. We would like to extend our warmest thanks for an outstanding tenure as the Past President of Sebring Firemen, Inc. and welcome the new leadership. Keep a close eye on this guy!

As Dave Travers would say, “It’s all about the kids!” This year at our annual banquet we presented the Sebring High School Athletic Department with a check for $46,000.00. We are proud to support our local high school athletic programs.
